Virginia Sloan moderated panel regarding capital punishment at summit hosted by ABA & ACS

The American Bar Association’s Section of Individual Rights and Responsibilities and the American Constitution Society for Law and Policy sponsored a summit, April 16th – 17th on civil rights, civil liberties, and social justice issues. The conference brought together lawyers from across the country who work on or are interested in issues of civil liberties, civil rights, and social justice matters. Participants had the opportunity to discuss and debate important legal matters, and establish resources and develop strategies for policy and development and legislative activities by the bar. Constitution Project President, Virgina Sloan moderated a panel on capital punishment, and other panels addressed immigration, women’s rights, access to courts, and criminal justice matters.
